Firefox 3.6 breaks box embed codes

Firefox 3.6 changes box embedding code from this:
<xt:box name="sitellite/nav/list" title="sitellite/nav/list" style="word-wrap: break-word; display: list-item; list-style-type: none; border: 0px none; background-image: url("/inc/app/xed/pix/box-bg.jpg"); background-repeat: no-repeat; width: 528px; height: 63px; font-weight: normal; padding: 23px 10px 0px 85px; margin: 5px;">sitellite/nav/list</xt:box>
To this:
<xt:box style="word-wrap: break-word; display: list-item;
list-style-type: none; border: 0px none;"
title="sitellite/nav/list"
name="sitellite/nav/list"></xt:box>
inc/app/xed/pix/box-bg.jpg"); background-repeat: no-repeat; width:
528px; height: 63px; font-weight: normal; padding: 23px 10px 0px
85px; margin: 5px;">sitellite/nav/list
The result is that the box still embeds, but some of the code is displayed in the page as well. The cause appears to be related to the background-image attribute.
