What instructions exactly did you follow? What is your setting for 'Determine language from' in 'Control Panel' > 'Admin' > 'Site Settings'? How did you switch to the other language?

Thank you for your answer.
I followed the "Multilingual guide". I set up Translations from the Control Panel, with Italian as the main language and adding English. I added a "language selector" box into a sidebar. However, I had not realized that the only way to offer users a language choice was through "cookies" (I thought that the browser settings were used only for determining the default language). After changing to cookies the "determine language" setting, it worked!
I did'nt understand, however, how to set links to other site pages. For example, I have a link to a page in a sidebar. I tried to copy the link, or pushed the link button and navigated to select the page; but when in the web view if you follow the link, only a blank page appears... -

Ok. Now I see it. When language is determined from 'Browser Settings', it seems the language selector isn't working. I will have to investigate on that. When language is determined from cookies or from url, it seems to work.
Adding links to other pages is out of the scope of this bug report. You should ask such questions on the sitellite google group. When you edit a page (or a sidebar), select the text on which you want to add a link, then click on the 'Add/Remove link' button. It the box appearing, you will see a 'Browse' button that allow you to choose the page you want to link to.

I can confirm that actually, language selector doesn't work with language determined from browser settings. I rewrote the way language negotiation is working on Sitellite 5.1.0 branch. Meanwhile, you should use cookies of url to determine language to use.
