Jquery update

Jquery 1.3 is outdated, it should be upgraded to 1.4. 1.4 Sources are already used by the dropdown menu.
What has to be done Search for files that use
jquery
grep -lir "jquery-1.3.*.min.js" *
Replace this to 1.4.2 and test if it still works.

already included in the latest github releases.
all references to previous jquery releases are changed to 1.4.2 release.
when applicable double jquery requests are removed for performance improvements.
