Permanently delete button

When viewing deleted items (web pages, web files,...), it would be helpful to have a way to selectively delete items you no longer need. I know it's possible to setup a scheduled task to do this, or do it manually from the database, but for those that don't want to mess with the database or aren't setup to run the scheduler, a method of deleting via the UI (checkbox, button, link) would be great.
