Installation Error

I downloaded the software and installed copied the content into a folder named "sitellite-5.0.1-stable" the continued the instructions of install. Everything goes fine and at the last step when i click launch Sitellite it gives the following error
Template Error: Empty document (Template: cms-app.default.tpl, Line 1, Column 1)
How can i overcome this issue

It's hard to say for sure without more info or seeing the site, but you could try editing the file inc/conf/config.ini.php and turning remove_index off. If it's installed in a sub-folder of the site, try installing it into the root of the site instead. Another thing you can do is make sure the 'usedocroot' setting is on and 'docroot' is set to the absolute path to your website root folder. That may help. If none of those help, I would suspect it's an issue with how PHP or Apache are configured.
